Marissa's Bio from Playbill Marissa Jaret Winokur (Tracy Turnblad)is best known for her portrayal of Janine in American Beauty, where she immortalized the phrase, "You are so busted." A native of New York, Ms. Winokur started her career on the stage,appearing as Jan in the Broadway production of Grease ! Upon completing the run,she moved to Los Angeles and quickly landed roles in the features Teaching Mrs. Tingle and Never Been Kissed, followed by her memorable performances in American Beauty and Scary Movie. She had recurring roles on "Dharma & Greg" and "Moesha" and guest-starring roles on "Just Shoot Me","Boston Public", "The Ellen Show","Felicity","Nikki","Steve Harvey","Get Real",and her all-time favorite-"Curb Your Enthusiasm:The Larry David Show". Ms. Winokur spent last summer in the L.A. Reprise! production of Hair. with Steven Weber.
