after a marathon 9 hour drive from new orleans, i arrived in forth worth at my quasi-relatives bernie and ellen's house (how they're related to me would take too long to explain!)  this stop served more as a resting place than a tourist attraction, as i caught up on sleep and prepared for my upcoming two weeks of errands in berkeley, but i still managed to see a dali exhibit, a sculpture garden, some horseback riding and naturally...
take in a rangers game!  the ballpark at arlington is big in a texas kind of way, but still retro-quaint like most modern parks.  the rangers beat st. louis 7-2 thanks to a hank blalock grand slam!
