| On the west side of Wallowa Lake's long, lateral moraine, you can see the glacier-carved valley and off in the distance, the summits of (left to right) Mt. Howard, West Peak, and Bonneville Mountain. We were visited, from a distance, by a small herd of deer as we explored the ridge. | |||||||||||||||||
