| The basalt cliff on the left foreground is the bivy area for climbers. The huge wall on the right has several different colors of climbable tuff. The strange formation in the center is also volcanic tuff, but it's apparently lousy rock; not very climbable, if I understand correctly. The snags you see in the foreground are from a fire that swept through here some years before I took the reference photo | |||||||||||||||||
