| We wanted to hike in the hills around Pinecrest Lake and met a couple who had been there many times. They said that on the far side of the lake, there was a side trail that gets lost a few times and presents a few obstacles, but eventually leads you to a series of pools carved into the granite. It was a great hike, some route finding, a bit of a scramble, and a huge payoff. This is the view when you just arrive at Cloe's Bath, which is off to the right (out of the frame.) | ||||||||||||||||
