You will need a crown twisted from oak
leaves, rosemary and pink and white roses.
Take only what you need from each tree or
bush and bless them for their gifts.

Seek out a quite spot, secluded and lovely, where
all of summer surrounds you. Build a small fire encircled
by stones. Burn nine pine cones and some insense
in the fire for the Goddess of fortune.

When twilight comes and the stars are twinkling bright, it is
time to begin dancing around the fire. Listen to your heart
and the faeries will inspire you to dance the magical dance of
the woods, the stars, the fire, and the night.

When you have grown tired from dancing, sit down in a
comfortable spot and gaze intently upon the fire.
Feed the fire so that it springs to life. Look into the
fire and ask the King of the Elves and the Queen of the wood
to be with you. If you keep a faithful heart and be still
you will see them dancing among the trees and you
will feel their spirit surround you.

When the fire is done, leave your crown and say clearly,
"This is for the Faeries."
On this night your dreams will be
touched by the magic of the night and the Faeries.

Garden Protection Spell

Under a wandering moon, break one leaf
from the tallest weed. Crush it with your
teeth, and spit the fragments on the earth and say:
"Malum, Depuo, hostem vereno cadeo cadeo"
Cut the stalk off the short with a silver
knife, and spread a handfullof salt on the hidden
root. All the garden bears witness to this and its
enemies (the weeds and bugs)
must soon withdraw






Restfull Sleep Charm

10 Cardamon pods
1 tsp Salt
15 Cloves
½ oz Peppermint
½ oz Rosemary
Dried peel of 1 lemon
Small square of white velvet, satin or muslin (3in x 3in)
One white candle
One Pink candle

Stitch a small pillow or pouch out of the
square of cloth. As you make the pillow, concentrate
on restful, beautiful thoughts. Light the white
and pink candle. Place ingredients on a work area.
Crush the cloves, cardamon and salt into a fine
powder. Blend with the herbs and put in the pouch.
Hang by your bed, or place under your bed to encourage
a restful sleep and sweet dreams. As you hang the
pouch by your bed say out loud:
"Sleep be with me"
