A scenic sheer mountain ridge along the south of the trail.  It appears to be about 5 kms long.
And on the opposite, north, side of the trail is a series of amphitheatres like this one.  I run out of adjectives to desribe the way in which moments with this beauty fill me up.
Here it is.  Jacques Lake.  About 15 steps from the campgound.
Jacques Lake is an elongated lake orriented southwest to northeast.  The trail comes out of the valley at the south end of the lake, centre of the photo, and travels along the north side of the lake to the right. This beautiful picture is taken looking back down the trail to the southwest.
A moose is feeding in the middle of this creek at the northeast end of Jacques Lake.
