Tilson Lake Trail in Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba, Canada
The Park is about 3.5 hours Northwest of Winnipeg, Manitoba.  The Tilson Lake Trail is one of several in Riding Mountain National Park.  It is part of the trail system in the west end of the Park.  The Trailhead is just inside the Southwest park boundary on a road which branches off Highway #264.  A warden station is a kilometer further up the gravel road.  We had planned to do the 35 km hike with our third night at Tilson Lake but bear activity at the Tilson Lake campsite prevented that.  We did the longer 54 km hike via Kay's Camp.
Shucks.  Gotta have a pic of the old fella once in a while.
The first day was heading East along the south boundary for about 11 km.  Shortly after turning North we will arrive at Boundary Campground.

While having breakfast at Boundary we spotted an unusual flying "thing".  It appeared to be a very large bee OR a very small humming bird. It is on the edge of the first dandelion left of centre in the photo below.  Difficult to see.
Such a joy to just stand and look around sometimes.
Day 2 between Boundary and Birdtail Campgrounds.
