.... I went to the Museum of Contemporary Art.  I really enjoyed myself there!  It was nice b/c one part of it had the history of many countries such as the U.S., Australia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Iraq, South Africa, Indonesia, etc. portrayed by photographs.  There were these black & white photographs with captions to explain what was occurring in history.  I felt that the pictures for Iraq were interesting.  First off, there were only really 3 pics.  Secondly, the captions acknowledged that the wastern media had failed to report on many things when it came to the country of Iraq.  I took a picture of this caption below (before realizing that pics were not allowed)!  Opps.
Oh yes, I also saw the Sydney Opera House for the first time today!  It was a bad morning though... raining cats and dogs.  I was disappointed at the weather b/c I couldn't go on the cruise or walk to the Botanical Gardens.  Grr.  I went on the Opera House tour today... paid about 11 bucks (i love how u can get everything for a cheaper price if ur a student), and went on the tour.  On the tour, I met two women who were also from the states!  They were from Kansas and had just come into Sydney today.  How typical - the first thing they do is run to the Opera House!  I'm glad I didn't do the typical thing... I waited two whole days before I even went close to the Opera House!  I learned a lot on the Opera House tour, and I've just realized that I'll have to make a new journal for OZ in which I can place brochures and such.  We took a tour of the Drama Theater (huge room), Concert Hall (bigger room!), and Opera House.  Brief info:
