Today was a busy day.  We went on another long trip!  Three of us co-workers, J., D., and I drove to the Kumbia Farm in Kingaroys together.  It was about a 3 hour drive and Northwest of Brisbane.  We arrived at the farm at 10:30 am, and we met a few other ppl and enjoyed tea and cake together =)  Then, we drove to the farm to check out the soil and Tarong Flash.  It was probably my second time on a farm, the first being in Pakistan.  J. was in shock when he heard that!  We collected some soil for testing later on.  I also got the chance to drive a tractor -- wee hee!
Later in the day we arrived at the Peanut Company of Australia to sell our idea.  The meeting lasted about 1.5 hours, and the outcome seemed positive.  They genuinely seemed interested in what we were proposing... that we could produce larger sizes of peanuts and in an increased quantity.  On the way back to Darra, we saw several bushfires!!!  They are a very weird site.  Below is an area where a bushfire has just gone through and wiped out trees and left its mark.
