This was another extremely busy day, though in a relaxing way...

Typical Chinese temple bridge w moi on it.

Then we went to Beihai for a nice relaxing park/temple visit. At the entrance we saw this teapot like thing which can be found in all temples. I just haven't really figured out what it is for yet...

On Wangfujing, on the way to order new glasses for me, we spotted these window washers. They were really high up washing the windows, just hanging around

We couldn't actually find these @ first, so we took an illegal shortcut. Oops... But later I went back and so I found where we got lost... hihihi. Am actually quite glad didn't have to climb these initially.

Taadaa! I am @ Beihai! :o) See in the background the White Pagoda Temple.

Behind these rocks there was an entrance to a cave w statues of saints (or something similar). Inside the cave there were stairs as well to go up through the inside, instead of using the normal stairs outside.

View onto the Forbidden City from the hill.

All insides of Chinese roofs are like this. Well, in temples and the likes anyway.

This was the actual temple, or so I think it was...U can't actually go into the White Pagoda, but this is right in front of it. So u pay for the park, to climb the hill, and later have to pay again for this. We didn't go inside as we thought we had paid enough. Even though the fee would have been only 2RMB...

U can see everything much better from a paddle-boat, so we got into one of those. great view everywhere!

On the complete other side of the lake were these little houses which formed a bridge.

After we had come down the hill again, we walked through the park. When we looked up, we saw the little Chinese house through the trees.

Ducks can just swim careless in between the paddle-boats and electrical boats. The boat in the pic is actually an electrical one. By the time I took this picture I had passed the initial exhaustion and didn't mind we didn't have a paddle one. Too bad we didn't have a swan boat though...

I just thought this bridge looked really cute. It is a pedestrian bridge near the paddle-boat rental.

Near the hostel this guy was playing his Chinese instrument.

After Beihai we went to Xidan, where we passed the biggest bookstore in Beijing. This is the statue they have outside of the store. I really like it.

The plan was: always have one hat on ur head and never let it be the same one.

In the evening we went to c some Chinese acrobatics. It was v impressive I thought, even though they made a few mistakes. Who cares, it was great fun! Here you can see the typical Chinese lions.

O yeah, and pls do some stunts in between as well.

This guy was v young and v funny and actually managed to keep his balance on this thing.

Swinging on ropes 5+ meters above the floor doesn't seem to be an issue either.

The girls were really good too, throwing these tolls up in the air and all...

I don't think this girl is v likely to have children... hihihi
