I-695 to 83 South, take 83 to first exit, Northern Parkway East, stay in left hand lane after exiting, go one block on Northern Parkway to the light at Falls Road, go left onto Falls Road, you'll pass Mount Washington Bike Shop at the first light, the third traffic light will be Lake Avenue, just passed this light, make a right before going over the bridge,and then another right into the park, on your bike, cross the small bridge on the left and follow the blacktop trail up to the pavilion, look for trail head on left :-)
Loch Raven Reservoir @ Dulaney Valley Bridge
Towson, MD
I-695 to exit 27 North / Rt.146, take 146 / Dulaney Valley Rd. about 3.5 miles, look for a small parking area on your left just before passing over the reservoir bridge, the trail head will be just behind the parked cars, take the middle trail, you can follow the water line for miles of great trails :-)
Loch Raven Reservoir @ Providence Road

I-695 exit 27 North, take 146 / Dulaney Valley Rd., take Dulaney Valley Rd. about 2 miles to Seminary Road traffic light, make a right and follow Seminary Road 1.5 miles to Providence Road, make a left, go about 1 mile and park on the right, on your bike, ride down the hill toward the wooded area and look for a trail head on the right just passed Lakecrest Ct. :-)
Gunpowder Falls State Park @ Sweet Air
Sweet Air, MD
I-695 exit 27 North, take 146/Dulaney Valley Rd., around 4 miles the road becomes Jarrettsville Pike, take this to Sweet Air Road, go right onto Sweet Air, at about 4 miles, just passed a big barn and some cows on the left, look for Green Road and make a left, go about 2 miles to a left onto Moores Road, go a 1/2 mile and turn left onto a dirt road called Dalton Bevard Road, just a few hundred feet and a right will get you onto the parking lot, a color map will show you the trails, the white trail to the left is a good starting point :-)

Patapsco Valley State Park @ McKeldon Area

I-695 to I-70 West towards Frederick, around 8 miles will be exit 83 - Marriottsville Road, North, go about 4 miles to the railroad track crossing, just over the tracks is a gravel parking lot on the left, from your car you should see the trails off to your right :-)

I-695 to exit 4 / Rt 97 South, go 10 miles south and 97 turns into Rt. 3 / Bowie/Odenton, just onto Rt. 3 about 1 mile make a right onto Rt. 175 / Annapolis Road, Arundel High School will be on the left, make a left onto the lot, park behind the school, on your bike, starting at the tennis courts, follow the tree line to the right, the first trailhead is behind the baseball cage,  and others are located along the tree line :-)
Patapsco Valley State Park @  Avalon Area
Catonsville, MD
I-695 to I-95 South towards DC, go 2 miles to exit 47 / Rt. 166 North, when on 166 stay to your left, go about 3 miles to a large park-and-ride on the left and park there, when you get into the lot you'll see a few bus stop shelters, on your bike, cross the road behind the shelters and take the road a few hundred feet to the left, there may be some cars parked on the road side, the trailhead is on right along the tree line  :-)
Shaeffers Farm
Gaithersburg, MD
I-695 to 95 South towards Wash. D.C., take 95 down to 495 West / Silver Spring, on 495 West  take exit 35 / Rt. 270 / North,  go 10 miles to exit 10 / Clopper Road, on Clopper Road go about 4 miles to the Rt. 118 traffic light, just after Rt. 118, make a left onto Shaeffer Road, go about 2 miles to a left onto Black Burn Farm, you'll see a sign that reads "Grey Rock Ranch", the trailhead is at the end of the gravel road just beyond the parking lot  :-)
