I am fairly a routine person, mostly because of animals around and about my home and land who need regular feeding and care. In short you could set your clock by me.

As you may have gotten to know my cat
Mikey3rd, he has been making his bed right by my side from the time I would fall asleep until I would wake up in the morning and there he would be right beside me in exactly the same place as the night before.

I have an inane habit to go to sleep at about the same time at nights with Mikey waiting for me on the bed just minutes before. I also wake up at approximately the same time every morning give or take a minute, without the assistance of any clock. And, there he is the sweet angel Mikey 3rd. What a smart puddy cat knows the time I go to sleep. Well I soon found out he knows much more than that.

It was the other morning I woke early for an unknown reason, but because now I was fully awake I decided to get up and wash the kitchen floor. To my surprise my Mikey was not in bed beside me. As a matter of fact he wasn’t in the house at all. I made myself some coffee, and after doing this and that also washed the kitchen floor, then decided to catnap for the next 15 minutes, which would bring me to the usual time I would wake up.

Some minutes barely passed, I heard the soft pitter-patter of Mikey’s paws over the carpet. I didn’t move and half closed my eyes. Yep there he came up on my bed in precise the same place as where he laid down the previous night, stretched, yawned, a quick paw wash, then curled his tail
around himself and pretended to be sound asleep as I stirred pretending
to just have woken up.

Doesn’t that make you wonder just what adventure your cat or dog
is up to while they think you’re sound asleep?

Now, where is that steak I had tucked away in the back of the fridge?

have a good and safe day
