The New Beginning
He then set his foot in the XCW arena and shortly got a European title match at a PPV.  He ended up winning the Hardcore Belt by the end of the PPV (still trying to figure that one out) and the fed closed shortly after.  Then he went to the GWA.  The same thing happened; he won the Hardcore belt and the fed closed.  So as a double-hardcore champion, he went to the WZW.  In his first match there, he won that Hardocre Belt and became the only Triple-Hardcore Champion that he knows of.  Like a curse, the WZW also closed down before he could defend it again.

Ok, A Second New Beginning

Masset lingered around as a free agent (and a thorn in many peoples' side) until the WZW once again opened up.  He entered only to find his Hardcore Title has been vacated.  He took this time to rid the other two hardcore belts, because at Sunday Slaughter, which was only weeks away, Masset had a shot at the World title in a
6-Man Elimination match.  Masset talked trash about all other competitors in the match.  Even the President was in this match!  When the match came, Masset entered it and stuck around to the bloody end, where he pinned Jeremy "Krazie" Howard to become the first WZW Heavyweight Champion.  One week later, he faced J"K"H again with the World Title on the line, and once again, Masset defeated him.  Masset turned his attention away from JKH and toward Shaun White, a newcomer in the WZW.  Shaun White stood up to Masset and demanded a title shot.  Soon, the time came to the match.  On a Slaughter about a month later, Masset faced Shaun White, and was not only defeated and stripped of the WZW World Title, but had his 8-month winning streak shattered.  Masset aquired the help of a midget named Snow White to train him.

WZW: DeadZone rolled around.  WZW's LAST EVER event to crown the LAST EVER World Champion.  It was a KOTR style tournament, in the height of the Masset/Shaun White feud.  Masset got by the quarter and semi finals, and Masset found himself in the main event of WZW: DeadZone fighting for the World Title.  His opponent?  His nemesis, Shaun White.  It ended in a climactic finish with Masset finishing off Shaun White with the Affirmation to become the last WZW Heavyweight Champion.

Well, looky who!
After nearly three months apart from the WZW, Masset joins the IWI.  Everything looks good, except who does he see?  Pyro.  Owner of WZW.  Masset enters with his WZW Heavyweight title, and that only fuels the fire.  Masset debuts when Pyro is celebrating his victory, attacking him and Urnthstar, Pyro's opponent.  The very next week, Masset is teamed up with Urnthstar in a handicap match, which they easily won.  Now, the next big challenge.  Pyro is angered to see the WZW Heavyweight belt still around Masset's waist, and demands a match with him for it in any stipulation he chooses.  Masset gladly accepts, and at IWI's first PPV, challenges Pyro to a brutal cage match!

Day of Reckoning

But at the Day of Reckoning, this match wasn't all Masset fought in.  Just minutes after the cage match with Pyro, Masset is to fight in a Battle Royal against the thirteen other superstars in the IWI.  So when the Day of Reckoning came on May 26th, Masset first fought Pyro.  Masset seemed to be losing it a bit, when the rickiddy and rusted cage collapses, right on Masset and Pyro!  Men help them out of the carnage, and Masset manages to roll out of the ring to seal the victory.  Then the Battle Royal came.  Masset is drawn number eleven out of fourteen, so he goes in without all the competition.  Pyro no-shows the match, and men come and go, and soon it is down to three; Masset, Herbie Barron, and Grendal.  Barron and Grendal stupidly knock eachother over the ropes and onto the floor at the same time, giving Masset the victory.  Wasn't the most glamorous victory, but he'll take it.  No doubt people will say the victory was a fluke.  Masset didn't actually knock the runner-up out of the right to win, yet still won.  At the end of the night, Pyro made a farewell speech, saying he's not all he used to be, and he stepped down gracefully.  You gotta respect him for that.  The plus side to all that is now Masset has bragging rights to say he retired Pyro.  Win-win!

Scars Re-Torn
Masset tragically loses his wZw title and gets sent to the hospital two weeks from IWI's second PPV, Scars Re-Torn.  Masset is out of action and is not heard from until minutes before his match; a Table Match with the "King of Table Matches" Ice.  Masset makes his return to network TV and debuts with his new theme music, "It's Going Down."  Masset, with a little help from the owners, wins the match, adding another tally of wins to his PPV record.

wZw-III
The IWI closes down due to backstage issues, and almost instantaneously, Masset gets word that the wZw is reopening for the third time.  Upon entering, he’s put in a match against Chen and Livewire for the wZw World Championship.  Eager to be crowned a 3-time champion, Masset trains like no tomorrow.  To add spice, the match is soon ruled a First Blood Triple Threat.  As the match begins, they fight.  As the match ends, Masset is left a bloody freakin mess, at the hands of President Iced T, Lawrence Jarvis, and Chen, who formed the group known as Last Call.

The partner
Livewire, fellow loser of the match, gave the idea to Masset to team up to take down Last Call.  Masset quickly accepts the proposition.  As Bruce has quoted, “
On this day, the 22nd of July, the tag team of Masset and Livewire commences.”

Cleverly called "Team Masset," he, Bruce, Snow White, and Livewire set out to take down the Last Call.

The plan

     “
Since Sunday, I vowed to do at least two things. One being winning the wZw World Title back, while the other is carrying out payback onto this "Last Call" by whatever means necessary.” - Masset

Masset set those goals after his loss in the First Blood Triple Threat match.  Thinking to kill two birds with one stone, he went after Chen and his World Title.  His mind was set, for Re-Loaded – Fighting Chen for the title in a
Singapore Cane match!

The match

With Lawrence Jarvis and Iced T banned from ringside, it’ll be a one on one match.  After several big moves and hard hits with the kendo stick, Masset does the impossible and hits the Affirmation with the kendo stick.  As Jarvis and Iced T were storming the ring to break the 3-count, fellow partner Livewire stops them, giving the ref time to count the 1, 2, 3.  Masset becomes a three-time wZw Champion.

Also that night, was a number one contenders tournament, in which Vilkata won the match.

One Week Later
Vilkata got his title match the next week.  Fellow teammate Livewire fought Chen for the US title, which Livewire won.  Sure wasn't a good eight days for Chen...lost the world title and a US title shot.

Then came the promo Masset has been waiting for for a long time...

Straight from President Iced T's mouth, "
I am officially disbanding The Last Call."  Masset's goals have been reached.

It was then time for Masset's title match against Vilkata.  After a violent fight, Masset hits the Affirmation for the win and successful title defence.  The wZw has unofficially closed after that night.

The ASW
After months of waiting for the wZw to re-open, which it has yet to do, Masset continues on his wrestling career in the ASW.  The place is big, the opponents are plentiful, and Masset just loves it.  Masset starts off with a bang, getting two wins against Jeremy Xero and Mizery, having a record of 2-0.

Season of Change
The first PPV for Masset in the ASW is an Over-the-Top Battle Royal against twelve others.  So the night of December 8th, Masset steps into the ring.  Fighting twelve others, Masset holds on to the bitter end.  As Masset was inching his way to victory, Masset is the last one knocked out of the ring with a dropkick by one Gavin Payne.  Payne becomes the winner; Masset, the loser.

The Days after
For several days after the loss, Masset was pissed beyond all recognition.  But to spice things up, and in a wicked turn of events, Bruce brings in wZw nemesis, Chen.  The catch?  As a tag partner.  For the first time since Bruce and Masset were a tag team, Masset is in a true tag team (Screw what you read on the top of the page, they never had a match as a team, therefore, not officially a tag team).  Bruce is good at being over-dramatic about these types of things, and again, is quoted saying, "
I shall announce that on this day, December the 12th, I’m affirming that the new tag team of Chen and Masset is officially called, “Anxiety Rising.”

They were quickly put into a tag team match against the two toughest wrestlers in the fed...the duo of the World Champion and the International Champion.  Boy, it seems SOMEBODY didn't like us!  But that's alright, all week long, Chen and Masset out-witted them, out-done them, and out-other things'ed them.  The victory was theirs.  Or not.  Their match, clearly in their favor beforehand, ended in a no contest.  Anxiety Rising showed they are able to play hard.  But they knew what happened.  The owner of the ASW didn't want two rookies overpowering his precious world champ and International champ.  But he knew the said champions couldn't win with their week's performance, so the obvious solution; draw.  So, with a theory of a massive conspiracy plotted by the All Star Wrestling against the likes of Chen and Masset, Anxiety Rising resign from the ASW and sign up with NAWF: North American Wrestling Federation.
