Introduction
Those things, which are worth having, are worth waiting for. Patience.
Welcome to Level 1 Jedi Training the lessons are actually taken from my own personal spiritual journey. They will work for everyone. I have designed each level to give you the necessary skills that you will require. Do not skip any levels. Each exercise must be followed and completed to a satisfactory level. Everyone is in a different place in his or her lives, and some people are more adept than others are.  If you feel that you have not reached the readiness for the next step, wait, do the exercise from that step until you feel that you have mastered it.  Do not be discouraged; it took me years to learn this.  I am giving guidelines to follow, if you feel that you have attained the goal of the lesson move on to the next lesson.  If you need longer time take it; dont be in a rush.  Everyone is at a different level.
One of the most important lessons anyone can learn in their life, is that of patience.  I cannot teach patience.  Life has a way of teaching patience, but many people do not want to learn it.  The younger you learn patience the better; easier it is.  I learned patience at age 22.  Dont be discouraged, it can be learned if you have the willingness.
The first level is designed to give you the foundation you will need.  This level deals with, grounding yourself, centering yourself, a form of meditation, control and the psychic shield; not necessarily in that order.  I wish I had learned these things in the order I will be presenting them to you.

When you complete a lesson to satisfactory level, that doesnt mean that you can stop doing that exercise.  Keep up with the exercise.  Most of these exercises are supposed to be done every day.  They help keep your mind sharp and focused.  As Supplementary training play puzzle games and do logic puzzles; these all help to keep your mind sharp.  The skills that you will learn can be learned by anyone.  The skills involved use underdeveloped muscles we all have.  Its time to develop those muscles.  Another Supplement you may wish to use but it is not essential is on video.  The title is  Shirley McLain's Inner Workout  it is one of the best of its type, and I can recommend it.  Remember it is not essential.

Even though it sounds a bit silly; what Yoda said in  The Empire Strikes Back  is absolutely true.  "...When you are calm, and at peace you will know."  The virtues to be learned on your quest are Peace, Love, Patience and Wisdom.  When you have completed all levels; Fear will not be an option.  You will react to situations without fear and be able to rise above the situation to prevail; perhaps even help someone out.  In my own words, fear leads to a reaction that reaction leads to mistakes.  The same goes for Anger.  Fear and Worry can often cause more problems, than what they are worth.

Read through the lesson before starting.  Be sure you have read it over have memorized and understand each of the steps.  Good Luck and may the Force be With you.

Lesson 1 Mental Exercise This exercise is to prepare you for the control you will need to Imagine or visualize the necessary elements in the next exercise.  If you lose control of the Image in your head then it will be very difficult to continue with the other exercises.  It also will come in handy later when you reach the higher levels.For this exercise you should be sitting down.  Take a few deep breaths to help relax you.  When you become more adept at this exercise it wont matter if you are sitting down, relaxed or not, or if you are in the most stressful situation, with your eyes open or even walking.  For now because this is probably your first time, sit and take a couple of deep breaths, close your eyes.  Now imagine a geometric shape; a triangle is the easiest.  Now imagine it getting bigger, then try to shrink it again; repeat.  Imagine it getting so big it explodes, now take it backwards and put it back together; repeat.You may repeat these in any combination you wish.  Remember if you lose control of the object the whole point of this exercise is to try and maintain control of the object.  to build yourself up to that point.  Its like being a 90-pound weakling trying to bench press for the first time.  You may or may not lose control of the object.  Once you have mastered the triangle try other shapes if you wish.Once you have attained control of the shape over a period of no less than 10 times on 10 consecutive days; in a row.  Without any loss of control; you may move on to the next Lesson.  Not to be confused with the next level.  You must have had complete control over it on 10 days in a row before you may continue.

Lesson 2 Grounding yourself This is an exercise that you must do before anything.Such as meditation, centering yourself...ANYTHING.  It works much the same way as the Ground in your electrical system.  It also ties us to the earth; call it a safety mechanism.This exercise calls for you to sit up straight in a chair, on your couch or on the edge of your bed.  Feet firmly planted on the floor.  It is preferable to be barefoot, but this is not always possible so dont worry if you have your shoes or socks on.   Close your eyes; take a couple of deep breaths purely to relax yourself a little.   Now, Imagine a golden yellow light or string or rod coming from your spine traveling down your spine continuing down in a straight line.  Imagine it going down through the floor(s) past anything it might encounter until it finally reaches the earth.  When it reaches the earth let it imbed it self at least a hundred feet below.  During this exercise you may feel a tug or slight heaviness at the base of you spine; this is normal.  It just means you can feel the actual grounding; some people can and some cant.  While you are grounded you can perform such things as centering yourself or meditation.  Remember if you are grounded, when you have finished either grounding yourself for practice or for another purpose. Once you are done you have to imagine the golden yellow light, string or rod coming back out of the earth back up through whatever you had Imagined before and retracting into your spine. Basically the exercise in reverse.

Lesson 3 Centering yourself This will help you with focus and bodily harmony.  If you wish to learn more about bodily harmony, read about Chakras; that will complete the package.  Otherwise I find that centering yourself is adequate.First ground yourself.  Now, with your eyes closed, think about your heart area.  This is where you will center yourself.  As you continue to think about your heart area you will notice a heaviness you may start to feel, it is very slight, but it is there. You are now centered.  Now reel up the golden light, and you are done you will remain centered for usually most of the day, unless something bothers you.  Pretty easy huh?  I centered myself as I was writing this, I dont even have to think about it anymore it just does it.  Thats what years of practice will do for you.

Lesson 4 Meditation The great thing about meditation is, it not only bringsharmony to yourself, but harmony to your surrounding area as well. I am going to supply a few different mantras here.  After many years I have come to a conclusion.  Many people use mantras in a language they dont understand and always the same word, sometimes its a word from their language and sometimes its the name of a Hindu God, or of an enlightened person who has since passed.  In my experience I have discovered that a mantra is really just a focal point for the mind.  I have also discovered that if you use a word, in your own language, which has meaning, it can actually help you out in that specific area.The first Mantra I will give you is Relax.  To begin Center yourself.  Now find a spot where you can sit.  Unlike grounding yourself you can sit any way and anywhere you find comfortable.  Sit Down, close your eyes, in your mind start to say  Relax  over and over.  This is a great stress reliever and is great after and even during a day at work.   For the beginner I suggest closing your eyes.  Once you have become more accustomed to meditation you may do it with your eyes open.  Quiet your mind.  Yoda Once said.  This is what you should be doing.  Concentrating on only one word and not thinking about problems or events that happened in your day. That is another type of meditation.  This is the relaxive type the other is the inquisitive type, which we will get into in a later level.  The second Mantra I will give you is Harmonize.  As you may have guessed this helps to maintain harmony between you and your surroundings.  The third is Sleep.  If you dont fall asleep, and it can happen, when using the relax mantra try this one.  I find, having insomnia, that this really helps when I go to bed.  This last mantra I am still experimenting with, and dont know if it actually works or not.  I invite you to try it and see what results you may get.  The mantra is either Heal or Healing try them both.  I dont advise that you experiment too much.  let me do that, and I will relay anything that is beneficial and will work.  Try using combinations of the above mantras.  For example, after using the relax mantra and now you are feeling fairly relaxed start using the harmonize mantra and if you dont feel relaxed during that go back to the relax mantra.

Lesson 5 The Psychic Shield   This is something I wish I had learned this early on.This is a little more advanced, but I feel that within the next levels you will need it.  This is a low level, but very effective type of Psychic defense.  Why you ask?   Unfortunately I found out the hard way.   Although we follow the Jedi code so to speak, there are others who dont.  Not only people, but spirits and other dimensional beings as well.   The shield is to be used whenever you do any of the above exercises, as well as when ever you talk about anything you have learned here or anything of this nature.  Remember the  cone of silence from Get Smart.  The shield can also be used in this fashion towards the spirit world.  You can extend it around you and as many people you wish to include in the conversation, and keep out the ears of the malicious spirits and other dimensional beings.  Dont put it up all the time either or it can attract some psychic attacks.  Step one, center yourself.  Now imagine a bubble around yourself surrounding you completely.  Head-to-toe and underneath you, leave no gaps.  This is your shield, Im sure that you imagined it a certain opaque color.  Usually the color you envision, is your own personal energy color.  You can expand the shield to be very large, or you can have it so tight it conforms to your body.  What ever you imagine.  Make sure that you give this shield the intent of being a shield, perhaps one that deflects any kind of attack.   Imagine your shield being attacked and everything being deflected from it.  Now maintain you should be able to maintain the shield sub-consciously; until you collapse it.  Once its up its up to stay.
Congratulations!  you have completed the first level, if you are speedy this level probably took you about a month.  If not, dont be discouraged it takes time.
