Hi, my name is Gary Maxfield and I live in Charleston, Utah near Heber City. I have been married to my beautiful wife, Merilee, for almost 23 years and we have four wonderful children. I grew up on a ranch and still live there today. My family enjoys hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. We spend a lot of our time training horses and competing in Rodeos. It’s a great family sport! I’m also a member of Search & Rescue in Wasatch County. We have owned a family screen printing and embroidery business for about ten years now.

I rolled over a fairly large sum of money from a Stock Ownership Program several years ago into the stock market with a broker. At the time I knew absolutely nothing about the stock market or trading; I just trusted that they were the professionals. When I found out how much money I was losing through my broker, I was furious. He was so arrogant about it…and it was MY money! So, I started looking for a better way to control my money and how to invest it wisely. When a friend introduced me to the Mentor Center, I was instantly intrigued, so I bought it and took it home. I decided to perform a little experiment and look at what I would have made had I invested in the same stocks using the Mentor Center compared with using my broker. I checked to see if I would have bought and sold those same stocks over the same amount of time just using the simple indicators in the Mentor Center. I would have over DOUBLED my money! I was sick that I lost all of that money, so I realized it was time to start studying the Mentor Center and learning how to trade in the market.

I started studying the video tapes, the manuals, and going to the training seminars that Investrio holds. I also have a great tutor in my trading partner, that has helped me so much. When I first started, every time I looked at the Mentor Center, I got the “deer in the head lights” look. I was reminded by my Mentor that you have to learn to crawl before you walk and walk before you run. That bit of advice helped motivate me to study and paper trade more before I made any real trades. That’s what is great about the Mentor Center…you don’t have to go it alone. The way the organization is set up, you have mentors and teammates to help you along the way. I have learned so much about the Stock Market and how to trade Stocks and Options successfully. The Mentor Center is truly a great program!

The Mentor Center has everything you need to invest and manage you own money. Nobody cares about your welfare as much as you do. I spend about one hour a day studying, and the fear of the unknown is slowly turning into understanding. The Mentor Center has a newsletter, the InvesTrader that is written by David Bush that I read every day, faithfully. The Mentor Center also has tutorial you can go through. I am confident that if you just spend a little time studying and doing your paper trading, you can build a retirement fund and supplement your income…or even create a fulltime income! This allows you to have more time to do the things you want to. In my case, this is spending more time with my family.

My 11-year-old daughter started showing some interest in what individual stocks were doing. I have presented it to her and any of the family that wants to participate as a game to see who can make the most money paper trading. I think it would be something that would help them the rest of their lives.

My suggestion to you is to do honest paper trading. By honest, I mean write down every detail: where your entries are, if you used a market order or a limit order, where your order was filled, where you set your stops, etc. There are too many variables to jump in with real money without learning how to paper trade first. It is important to do it right! You should spend about an hour a day studying and paper trading. Many people fear taking control of their own finances, but I believe that fear is from lack of knowledge. With the Mentor Center that fear is gradually replaced with knowledge.
