Welcome to my home on the Web! I am Lord Mathaeus Blades, or rather that is my name in the SCA. To everyone, though they are in the SCA or not, I am mainly known as Matt.
I like to make things with my hands. I have built wooden furniture for use in the SCA, as well as an internal frame for my medieval-period tent (it lets me have more room, without working around a center pole). I work in wood, and metal, but more of a “hey, I think I can make that so I won’t have to buy it!” mode. I also am a home-brewer, making mead and dandelion wine. One of these years I’m going to have to try mulberry wine.
I work full-time as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and am in school continuing on to become a Registered Nurse. My ultimate goal (so far) is to work in the operating room.
