Inside

A substantial breasthook joins the stem. Laminated from thin strips of mahogany. Bronze bolts will hold it to the clamp as well.

Measuring for  floors and bulkheads with a "tick stick". When we where really careful we could eliminate making patterns and used the measurements to make a floor that fitted with minimal adjustments.

The 1 inch plywood floors being ready for installation.

A picture of the plywood floors being taped to the hull. These big ones will actually be cut out for the engine and tanks later.

The floors are spaced a bit closer at the mast. When you filet and tape something with epoxy, silica and glass, it will be much faster if you make the filet and then prewet the glass with epoxy before taping. You must prime the plywood with epoxy carefully though so you don't get any dry spots.

A stringer made from some strips, the same width as the hull and glassed over. It is placed where the hull will touch ground when lying down on its side.

The floors in the steering station act as a work bench. Now it is much easier to work inside the boat.
