Premise:
Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) leaves his "Friends" behind in New York and moves to LA to further pursue his acting career. His roommates now are his sister and her son and his new neighbor, Allison is a potential love interest.

Cast:
Drea DeMatteo (Gina Tribbiani). Gina is Joey's sister and a hairdresser. She is not afraid to speak her mind even if others think what she says is inappropriate. Even though Gina teases Joey, they still have a great relationship. Gina gave birth to her son when she was a teenager but still managed to have an active life as she is said to have a way with men. Her relationship with her son is good though she sometimes dotes on him to the point of being overprotective.
Paul Costanzo (Michael Tribbiani). Michael is Gina's son and extremely intelligent. He is attending graduate school at Cal Tech. Though what he has in booksmarts he lacks in street smarts and can be socially awkward.
Ashley Scott (Allison). Joey's new neighbor who is stuck in a bad marriage. Allison is not the typical girl that Joey would be attracted to as she is not glamorous. But there is chemistry between Joey and Allison even if they are not aware of it.

At a big screening for the pilot in New York, NBC executives and other people in the media were very impressed by what they saw. The show has been predicted to become one of the most successful new shows this fall and to have a long run. The only bad news has been that Ashley Scott, who was in the short lived TV series, "Birds Of Prey", will no longer be with the show and the character will be redeveloped.
