Posted On: 2/13/02 There are a few new changes going on at Cartoon Network. Toonami is now actually showing new episodes of Dragon Ball on both daytime and Midnight Run which eliminates Outlaw Star. However, the late night cartoon block, Adult Swim, is changing too. Starting Feb. 23, Adult Swim will be airing only on the weekends. Saturdays will be all anime with a few new shows. Sundays will just be all of the comedic cartoons. Posted On: 1/19/01 Alright, we've found out that there are two anime movies that are being released in the month of January. Also the motion picture of Escaflowne is being released in selected cities. Both movies are PG-13. Posted On: 7/11/02 It seems there is some more stuff going on over at Cartoon Network. They are going to be airing new episodes of Dragon Ball Z this winter which will (hopefully) wrap up the Buu Saga. Toonami also plans to put the Classic Zoids series on July 29th and introduce a new Gundam series, G Gundam, August 5th. They will also air the new upcoming Transformers series called "Transformers: Armada". Also, Hollywood is snatching up anime/game titles left and right. Expect a Dead Or Alive movie next year along with a Crazy Taxi and House of the Dead movie. FOX has now acquired the rights to produce live-action DBZ movies...let's just hope its nothing like that live-action Street Fighter movie with Jean Claude Van-Damme..... |
