| Site News - Last Stop Its the end of the road for The Anime Bus Stop. This site will no longer be updated. All the members are gone and I don't feel like running this whole thing by myself. I've also gone off to do something of my own. I've taken MPK Productions and set that up as my homepage. MPK Productions is where I now do more than just music videos; I now do graphics and art where I also take requests for graphics. I'm also getting a forum up and going for MPK as well. With all that going on, I don't have any time for this site. And frankly, I'd rather not mess with this site since it is a mess as I did not know what I was really doing when I made this site. Now that I have a better understanding of webdesign, I have applied that to MPK Productions. Although this site never got to see its completion, I still have enjoyed working on this project. I've gotten over 4,000 visitors, something I never thought I would have happen to a simple GeoCities site. Its just time to move on. I'm still going to leave the site and all links up. Maybe I will pick this site up once again later on, but for now I am going to be working strictly on MPK Productions. I hope that there is someone out there who enjoyed this site. See you around. - Matt (7/22/04) _______________________________________ Good news. I've decided to do some remodeling around here. I'm going to set all the images up into the club. All you have to do is join and you'll have access to all the pictures on the site. This will also save space for the site. I have gotten the homepage for MPK Productions up and running now with plenty of music videos. Don't know when everything will take place. Hopefully sometime this week. - MaTT (3/3/03) ________________________________________ I really don't feel like updating the site anymore. Its too much work. I have a lot of other things that take up my time and the site just happens to not be one of them. Does this mean that the site is closed? No. I'm not officially closing the website. I've actually started making an image vault for the site. Later on, I'm probably going to turn the site into more of an image gallery. I'm also still making music videos. I've started a new GeoCities account to move MPK Productions to. Its not up yet though. I've finally reached one of my little goals for this site. That goal was to see this site get over 3,000 visits. I'm glad that the site has been somewhat prosperous. I've also been doing some work on a site made by me and some friends from school. MaTT (10/3/02) ________________________________________ The staff members have been a little busy lately. I'm going to put a few new reviews from Yaga some time this week whenever I get the chance. I'm also considering on dropping the Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, and Transformers sections. For some reason, they aren't accessible for those people with firewalls or filtered internet. I'm taking the chat off because the website that provided the chat for free (Beseen.com) has now closed. On the bright side, Yaga and I have both been discusing a new anime section for SNK. This section would be completely under control of Yaga though. He still isn't sure if he wants to do it or not. More updates sometime this week. MaTT (9/9/02) ________________________________________ We now have a new staff member, Yagaminorochi (gasp for air), who will be doing video game reviews for both console systems and PC. He has 2 reviews and will have some more coming up soon. He'll also be giving out previews of some upcoming games. MaTT (8/24/02) ________________________________________ Now that my summer vacation has come to an end and school is starting up, I'm not sure if I'll have any time to work on the site. Aside from going into high school, I'm also going to be starting kung fu with Renato. We're both going to be doing Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu. Between this and nightly homework, I'm not sure how much time I'll have to devote to The Anime Bus Stop. I seriously doubt Flip is going to do any work when I can't. I'm still thinking of doing a comic and putting it on the site, but I haven't gathered all my attention to this project quite yet. It seems that this site has been under neverending construction...I originally started this site as "The Tiger's Lair" and then reopened it as "The Anime Bus Stop" with more stuff. The Anime Bus Stop has been up and going for almost a year and I still haven't finished totally building it. I just want to be finished with it one day and just add-on some stuff once in a while...I wonder when this will ever happen. I'm going to get some prank calls online for downloading along with a new music video and a little preview music video I made for the site, I guess its like a movie trailer in a way. Those should be up soon. I have added a new gallery in the DBZ section devoted to odd moments throughout the DB series. Many thanks to Razor for allowing me to use some of your space for this video. - MaTT (7/15/02) ________________________________________ Let's see...Now that The Anime Bus Stop is back up, there's a few things I wanna take care of. First, I would like to try and get some fanart and fanfics up. I'm also going to try and get a lot more pics for some of the unmaintained series like Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Street Fighter. I'm considering on starting a webcomic of some sort. The key word here folks is "considering". Also, the owner of the forum where I do a lot of posting, Diffusion4, might host 1 or 2 of my anime music videos so I am quite happy about that. Of course, nothing is guaranteed. But it is something good to look forward to. I know that there is a lack of visitor feedback. I'm not sure if I even have regular visitors. I want to get more people into this site, so I'd appreciate it a lot if some people would donate their fanart or fanfics to my website. Any wallpapers would be nice too. I'm also accepting guest anime reviews for any series or movies. You can also do episode guides or summaries. You'll recieve full credit and there's no limit of series you can do. I'll even take video game reviews. ^_^ There's also a few things on this site I'm going to be getting rid of. The Message Board isn't doing any good and neither is the chat. No one joins the Club section where I have pics that aren't on the site, so I might be doing away with that too. DreamCrash is way too dead and I don't feel like keeping it going.
