Advice
You may be wondering - "What do I need to bring?" or "What should I do before I leave?"  Here are some words of advice:

1. Make photocopies of ALL your documents. Give one set to your family.

2. Make sure you have updated addresses of friends and family.

3.  Get your Hepatitis shots BEFORE going abroad.

4.  If you need medication, bring lots with you. Have a good supply of anti-nausants (it is a LONG flight).

5.  Bring lots of deodorant - it is hard to find here!!

6. Buy pins or keychains to show your country's flag on your bag or purse (especially if you are Canadian), even though hostility towards foreigners has decreased dramatically since World Cup.

7.  Bring lots of small souveniers (eg. postcards, stickers). They are great for gifts!!

8. Korea has 4 seasons too - winters are pretty mild, but it still snows. Summer is really hot.  Bring a variety of clothing.  You can always buy more here!!

9.  Bring single bed sheets - not provided.

10. Bring a journal.
