"Halito"!  Hello, in Choctaw. This is where I would like to share some of the wisdom of the survivors of the Holocaust of the native people of the western hemisphere. We are a people hanging on to the shreds of our cultures, knowledge and peoples. There is nothing romantic about surviving extermination and institutionalized abuse. The danger of being NDN  is just as real today as it ever was.  All of the dreamcatchers sold in New Age do-dad stores have not freed Leonard Peltier or Norma Jean Croy from prison nor paid the lawyer fees for Yvonne Wanrow Swan nor saved the lives of those who died while in custody. But like this page with the southwestern design, plains winter shield and Choctaw greeting, NDN  people weave our old and new wisdoms to help us survive and stay united. To help us find our way in a dark time.

These are some of our stories.
