Perhaps you are a worker
in the field - and I know how tough that can be sometimes - or you may
be a victim, or a survivor, of Child Abuse, and are looking for something
that may help you deal with the pain, betrayal of trust, and all those
other emotions that sometimes make it hard to keep going.
As a survivor of Child Abuse myself, and now as a worker who deals with
these issues on a daily basis, I have found these links to be informative
and helpful. I have placed the email button in case you came directly
to this page, and decide not to explore the remainder of my site, yet would
like to contact me anyway. I am NOT a psychologist or psychiatrist,
so if it's professional help you're needing, you may find some links here
that will help you find someone in your area. Otherwise, your local
Women's Health Centre should be able to put you in touch with someone who
can provide professional help. I have run groups for women to assist
them to deal with past abuse, and I also do some casework for women and
children who have been abused, in my current job.
If on that level, I can be of any assistance, please feel free to email
me. I'll try and answer as promptly as I can, and to provide you
with resources in your area that will be able to provide ongoing assistance.
