Biography
M.F.A  Ceramics
Born in Kansas City, Missouri on July, 9th,  the most positive part of my childhood was spent on a cattle ranch in Clayton, New Mexico. The reminder of my childhood was spent in rural northeast Kansas.

After high school graduation, I left the country for the excitement of the "big" city. It was at that point that I began my 20+ year journey to obtain my undergraduate degree. Along the way, Life presented me with numerous detours - but each has bestowed me with a wealth of experience to draw from.

In 2003, I received my B.F.A. from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. Facing the challenges of being a non-traditional student, maintaining four part-time jobs, commuting 4,000 miles each month to attend classes and carrying a full time class schedule serves as a testament to my tenacity. I graduated with Honors and was bestowed with an appointment to the Honorary Gold Key Society.

In August, 2005, I  will graduate with my M.F.A. in Ceramicsand a minor is Sculpture.

My dream is to secure a position on a reservation somewhere in the Southwest.
