world, captured and rechanneled ito either clay and/or mixed media reflects experiences which are common to some extent by all women. I see each work as being alive - an extension of my life, my thoughts and, in some cases, my nakedness of expression.

Originally inspired to explore art as a profession by Louise Nevelson and Georgia O'Keefe, I have inhaled the words of Inga Muscio, while the physical works of Caroline Carpio, Dixie Friend Gay and Christian Boltanski have challenged me to explore everyday objects viewed through new eyes.
The value of my work lies not in it's monetary potential; but rather in its ability to provide an impetus for the viewer's introspection and dialogue, as well as an outlet for my personal expression. I do not mean for it to be cerebrally complex but rather something which the viewer can identify with at various levels of interpretation. As everyone is at a different level within their life process, each work is expected to be looked upon with different eyes.

Every day. every individual goes through numerous Transformations. This is my presentation of experiences.
