Which Way is Up I-Spy Mystery Quilt
Part 3: Sewing your Focus Fabric
First I want to start with a review of the fabric and sizes that you should have cut out already.

1.  30 6" square pieces of fabric.  These can be I-spy fabric in novelty themes, ABC Charms, or any other fabric you would like to focus on for this quilt.

2.  Fabric A:  You should have:
            60 - 2.25 x 2.25 inch squares.
            10 - 4.5 x 2 inch rectangles
             4 - 4.5 x 1.25 inch rectangles

3.  Fabric B:  You should have:
             60 - 2.25 x 2.25 inch squares.
             10 - 4.5 x 2 inch rectangles
               4 - 4.5 x 1.25 inch rectangles

4.  Fabric C:  You should have:
              4 - 2.75 x 18 inch strips
               6 - 5.5 x 5.5 inch squares

5.  Fabric D:  You should have:
               4 - 2.75 x 18 inch strips
               6 - 5.5 x 5.5 inch squares
NOW LET'S GET OUR THINGS READY TO SEW
Using the I-spy fabric, you are going to have 5 rows of 6 pieces across.  At this time you will need to roughly figure out the lay-out of your I-spy fabric pieces.
HINT #1: If you have pieces that can go anywhere, all you will need to do is seperate the pieces into 2 piles.
        18 pieces in one pile
12 pieces in the other pile
HINT #2:  If you are using fabric from an ABC swap that needs to be in a special order, this is the time to do that.  You will need to put these blocks into 5 rows of 6.  You will want to put these in a line labelling each pile 1 - 5.
NOW let's review what you have and what you need.
-You will either have 2 piles of focus fabric or 5 piles labelled 1 - 6.
            -Fabric A: 60 2.25 x 2.25 inch squares
            -Fabric B: 60 2.25 x 2.25 inch squares
