In my studies, I have learned that the lifestyle of the Gorean, is based on the Gor fiction books written by John Norman , aka, John Lange. The introduction of Tarl Cabot happens in the first book, which is called *Tarnsman of Gor*. Cabot was of this Earth, and was taken to the planet Gor, by the Priest Kings. The word *Gor*, simply means *Homestone*, a place of dwelling. I shall not go into detail, as it will take too long, so may I respectfully suggest that you read the books, as well as visit the links, which I have included some of my favourites, at the end of this section, before my own dances and serves.
Please may I also add here that, it is possible, to an extent that the practice of the Gorean ways can be put into reality and lived out. Until recently, I had always respectfully argued the point of how it could be, and refused to agree this point, but after reading and studying books and other websites, as well as talking to others about this, I have felt something different about myself.
As I read, study and learn more, my heart leaps within. It is hard to explain, but for those who are in this lifestyle, you will understand just what I mean...smiles.
