There I went north on 585 until I hit 587, Red Bluff Rd., above Morgantown. Actually I went the wrong way but recovered after reaching town. Reversing, I headed toward the landmark, the Bluff.
After stopping and taking the obligatory pictures of the Bluff,  I cut down off the ridge into the land of the West Slope on Pine Grove Rd. which turns into Pine Gravel Rd. which turns ito Sartinville Rd. crossing Ms.27, main north-south route in these parts. I continued on E.Sartinville Rd, having not had the pleasure, previously. I came to Ms.44.  Sartinville became Ms.44 going southwest. Tiring of 44, I went south on Patsy Hill Rd. Patsy turned out to be Cowart Price, what a disappointment. I got off of Cowart onto Pike 93 N.though I was going south. Pike took me into Holmesville which is about 3 miles north of the intersection of US 98 and Pike 93 Central.
After checking out the Bluff, it's on to Holmesville. The Next Button is below the pictures.
The road had to be moved back due to falling off the cliff.
The old road went thataway. Now it's a quiet stop away from the previous sport bike route. It's different. The shock is gone now that the scene is not part of the traveled road. It was a stop for everyone and suffered the litter that popularity brings. Some of the litter was gone.
The flattened area was the road. See its proximity to the cliff?
Like most good cliffs, the fullness of  emotion cannot be felt until on the edge.  "Emotion" and "edge" seem to fit together a lot.
You look out and pan left to the colors.
On a bright, clear day the colors are brilliant. Too, bad, but here's one better.
Here's some more.
