Notes- (Things I find interesting in this book, and think are worth pointing out)

Notice the very unique style of semaphore in Fig 7 on page 2 for showing an end of a block. This is the only railroad I've ever seen to have a two bladed semaphore signal in the US.  The Italian state railway  (FS- Ferrovie dello Stato) has a semaphore with 2 blades  to show a combined main and distant signal. Anyone know of any other railroads to have this type of signal?

Also notice the very interesting dwarf signals with the small blade attached in the middle such as on page 3 Fig 17/18/and 20
