Charles Arnold McNaughton
1930 - 1979
Arnold McNaughton of Hemmingford, Quebec, wrote the three volume set of books entitled: THE BOOK OF KINGS: A ROYAL GENEALOGY, which although over 30 years old is still considered a cornerstone of royal genealogy by scholars of royal genealogy. He also wrote a small book just for our family, about our McNaughton genealogy, detailing our descent from John MacNauchtan of Dunderave Castle who was the great uncle of the last chief of the clan. Arnold McNaughton spent much of his life searching out all the lines of our family from around 1690 to the present. His little book contains several thousand descendants.
