Spell a Sport
		Showers of Possibilities
	Materials needed:  1 shower curtain, roll of industrial strength velcro, cut out and laminated pictures of different sports and activities, 1 large magic marker, laminated 3x5 cards with alphabet letters.  The sport pictures are secured with velcro so that they can be switched out on different days. This station can accomodate 6 students at a time.  To begin the activity, the 3x5 cards are shuffled and placed in the single box under the word.  The student can get into push up position or modified push up position and begin to use alternate hands to put the letters in in order until they spell the sport in the picture. After the student has correctly spelled the sport, they will shuffle and replace the cards for the next student.  Students will work together to rotate as each student finishes their word. Variation:  Students work on flexibility by sitting or standing in different poses and spelling the words.
