These tournaments are sanctioned by USSSA

 

All teams must be an “E” or “REC” Classification to enter these tournaments.

 

ILLEGAL PLAYERS

In the event of an illegal player, that said player should he be found illegal shall be ejected for that game plus the remainder of the tournament, and the team using the illegal player shall forfeit the remainder of the current game.

If in the event of an illegal player, who has already qualified with another team, and is participating on another team’s roster, that player will be ejected for the remainder of the tournament.

 

ROSTERS

All team’s rosters are due in to the tournament director before the start of your team’s first game.

**Failure to turn in your team’s rosters before the start of your team’s first game will result in that game being forfeited. All other games will also be forfeited until a roster has been turned in to the tournament director.

***All rosters will be FROZEN when they have been turned in for that tournament.  No players can be added for the duration of that tournament.

(NO EXCEPTIONS)

In the event that a team qualifies for the Nationals and accepts the bid their roster will be frozen with those players, and those players may not qualify with any other “E” team unless released by the coach through the USSSA State Director.

 

FEES

All tournaments will have an entry fee that will be due prior to your team’s first game.

Refer to the ESTS schedule for the amount of a particular tournament.

Failure to pay an entry fee will result in forfeiture of all games and loss of all points.

Also failure to pay an entry fee said team would not be allowed to participate in any other ESTS sanctioned event for the remainder of the year.

 

CANCELLED TOURNAMENTS

If a tournament is cancelled before it begins for whatever reason, each team that has entered will still receive the 10 bonus points entitled to them for participation.

However, for those teams who pay their entry fee early and the tournament is cancelled will not receive the 15 bonus points, because those said teams will be refunded their entrance fee 100%.

 

NO SHOWS

Any team that enters that enters an ESTS sanctioned event and a team does not show for the tournament all bonus points will be forfeited for that tournament and the entrance fee will not be refunded. 

If a no show team wishes to enter another ESTS sanctioned event that said team will have to pay ˝ of the entrance fee in addition to the entrance for the tournament they wish to enter. NO EXCEPTIONS

 

FORFEITS

If a team forfeits a game for any reason a $50.00 forfeit fee will be applied payable before the end of the tournament, failure to pay a forfeit fee will result in forfeiture of all ESTS Points for that Tournament.  A forfeit fee will carry over upon entry into the next ESTS Tournament.

 

THE ESTS POINTS SYSTEM

 

All of the tournaments will have four unpaid berths to the Nationals in Ocean City MD in August.

These points will accumulate throughout the series.

The point system is as follows:

First

5 Points times the number of teams in tournament

Second

4 Points times the number of teams in tournament

Third

3 Points times the number of teams in tournament

Fourth

2 Points times the number of teams in tournament

Fifth & Sixth

1 Point times the number of teams in tournament

 

A tie for the top will be decided as follows:

  1. Head to Head in all tournaments played in together
  2. Best Average finish in tournaments that the tied teams played in together.
  3. Overall average finish in all tournaments played in.
  4. Most tournaments won.
  5. Best overall Run Differential
  6. Fewest Runs Allowed
  7. Most Runs Scored
  8. Coin Toss
