In this section you will find the requirements to move up the ranks in the boy scouts of America While the lower ranks (ex. Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class) are more for working on and learning skills and working in groups. The higher ranks (ex. Star, Life, and Eagle) are more the responsibility of the individual scout to advance and choose their path in the road to Eagle. The ranks of Star, Life, and Eagle require individual completion of merit badges from a wide variety of areas. See List Of Merit Badges All ranks require personal development in outdoor skills, citizenship, personal fitness, and the ideals of scouting. |
