When you start the game you will see that everything is much more detailed. In R/B/Y the room you start in had a bad, T.V and Computer. In G/S the starting room has, Bed, Desk, Computer, printer thing, T.V and a rug on the floor. The downstairs of the house is the same, It has a desk, T.V, rug, then a wall hiding a kitchen. Outside is detailed too, I won't describe it though. The starting town, not pallet, is much bigger, it has about 10 buildings, rather than just 3. Your rival(not Gary) is also much, much meaner this time. When you chose a starting Pokémon he i not there but later in the game he steals the other two from he Grandfather(not Oak). Like in R/B you have the choice of starting with a Fire, Water or Grass Pokémon. I started with the Water type, I don't know it's name because I can't read Japanese. You have a much more detailed PokéDex to. It looks like the one Ash has. In R/B/Y your could only carry 20 diferent items around at once. It G/S you have a backpack with holds everything. On the items screen you can select where each item is located in the pack. In some buildings there is a radio, if the see one you can turn it on. Doing this makes your Pokémon happier. So far I am at the 3rd town. There is still team rocket in G/S but not Jessie and James like Yellow. It is a good game but I think it should be more like the show, with the cities like Dark City(The Yas gym vs the Kas gym) and have places like Pokémon Island(Island of the giant Pokémon). Now that I have played it I would not go out and buy it unless all my friends got it. Done by jigglypuff
