Mothra,
Oh Mothra!
We will call over time,
Mothra.
We will call over sea,
Our guardian you will be,
Like a wave come back to me,
Mothra.
Oh Mothra!

Mothra,
Oh Mothra!
Teach us kindness and love,
Mothra.
We will not be alone,
You will lead us back to home,
To an island of our own,
Mothra.

Mothra is the benevolent guardian of Infant Island; a small island located in the South Pacific.  She is revered as a goddess by the natives and others.  She protects her followers on Infant Island against threats from man and monsters
Mothra has four stages in her life: egg, larva, pupa, and adult.  There can be one or in rare cases two larva that hatch from the egg.  The larva emerges as a gigantic caterpillar.  This larva can defend against threats, but not as well as the adult.  Its main weapon in this stage is its suffocating silk spray that it sprays from its mouth.
When the larva is ready to make the transition to adult, it spins a cocoon out of its silk and wraps itself up in it.  After an undetermined amount of time passes, the adult begins to emerge from the cocoon,
The adult Mothra resembles a giant butterfly or moth, giving her a beautiful appearance.  Beneath that appearance however, is sheer power.  Mothra has several deadly powers at her call, including the ability to shed deflective and poisonous scales from her wings, the ability to fire electricity from her wings and antennae, and in a later form; the ability to fire three lasers from her forehead, and the ability to fire a blast of energy from her feet.   She also has the ability to morph into battle forms such as Aqua Mothra Armored Mothra and Light-speed Mothra.
Mothra maintains a close telepathic contact with two tiny twin priestesses, the Shobijin (or Fairies) also called the Cosmos Who sing to and worship Mothra.
