He is also extremely erudite because of nearly 200 years of studying philosophy. This also has made him an excellent doctor as he has had 200 years to study medicine as well.
Weaknesses: Akari is a weak physical fighter because of the more erudite lifestyle he has chosen to live. His stoicism tends to get on the nerves of the more easily excitable humans. He will very rarely actually enter combat because of his pacifistic nature.
Appearance: Akari is best described as being thin. He is tall and has long arms and legs, which look longer because of his thinness. Rather than making him look lanky his thinness makes him seem graceful. His facial features also have very long lines and his face is rather thin as well. This gives him a rather aristocratic and refined look. He has extremely dark blue eyes that match his long blue hair. His hair is parted neatly down the center of his hair and usually rests on his back. His clothing is rather intricate and adds a regal air to his appearance. He wears a simple white robe which goes below his feet. Over that he has a more ornate blue robe which stops a foot about the white robe. The blue robe has white embroidery at the bottom and a pattern of alternating white and blue diamonds across the chest and white embroidery about the shoulders as well. He has tight black sleeves on as well, that go under the bunched of sleeves of the initial robe. A long black robe with a white interior goes on as well, but he usually only fastens it on his back so that the front of his robes are still showing. Strange crystal formations can also be seen worn on the back of his hands, on a necklace around his neck, and on his forehead.
Personality: Akari is very much a stoic and an introvert. He is introverted because in 200 years his confidantes tend to die and he has been left alone often, leaving his only recourse as thinking about his problems internally. His stoicism is a result of studying philosophy so long and also witnessing so much over the course of 200 years. He has seen significant to scare him now. Also, after studying so much philosophy, he has found the best way to analyze the world philosophically is to do so when calm. Akari is also a devout pacifist. He has seen many deaths during his life, and many of those have been of people close to him. He tries to keep people from dying as much as possible because he knows firsthand how much grief it causes. Akari is generally very pleasant to be around and very polite. He considers proper etiquette one of the best ways of showing one’s education. He is also very easy-going by nature which makes him easy to get along with. He is also an excellent conversationalist and comes off as very non-threatening when in a conversation.
History: This is annotated to only include the –major- events in his life. He was born to two previous guardians of the unicorn mecha. They left this realm around his 100th birthday as he was finally considered old enough to be a guardian himself. He took up his new title with almost religious fervor. It did not take him very long to realize that guarding a generally unknown mecha was not a particularly exciting job. He continued to take his duties seriously though because his parents had taught him the consequences if the mecha were to return to activity in the world. He also had plenty of time to talk with the other guardians and study though. He became very close friends with the other guardians, but one of them was human and died of old age a mere 20 years after his instatement as a guardian. He was overcome with grief after their death and turned to his studies. He wrapped himself in his studies and meditations and generally avoided the new guardian who had replaced his friend. Forty years later the new guardian died as well. Although he did not feel any remorse, he was disturbed by his apathy and thought he should have felt something. He then resolved to better know the fourth guardian to work with him. He was know a very educated philosopher and a doctor. The new guardian was pleasant and became another good friend with him. He also apologized to Clover for his rash behavior after the death of the death of the first guardian. Things continued in the same vein they had for his first 20 years of service. For 30 years he lived comfortably with the two other guardians gaining or regaining their friendship. That year somebody saw through his illusions and actually attacked the guardians to try and take the mecha for himself. The third guardian was killed during that attack and in a revenge driven fury Akari killed the attacker. He was grieving for the loss of another friend, but even worse he felt terribly guilty about killing the attacker. He swore to avoid hurting others and to help them as much as he could after that day. The new guardian came to replaced his slain friend, and Akari became friends with her as well. Things have continued in the same peaceful fashion Akari is used to for the past 10 years after that.
Item: Soul Shards - The crystals that he wears on his person are blessed with an ancient elven magic. Whenever a member of his family passes into another realm a part of their soul remains within the stones. This gives him their magical strength as well as allowing him to on occasionally, instinctually know something one of his ancestors did.
