Below you will find a listing of plants, herbs, etc that can be used for cleansing, protection, exorcism, etc.  It's a work in progress, like the rest of the site. I'm trying to get the basic info up, then I'll go back and add detail, so check back often! You may want to plant some of these in your yard, keep them potted in or around the home (if you're not allergic and they're not poisoness to your pets), add them to foods (if they are safely editble) dry them and keeping them around the home or in medicine bags to be worn or kept in pocket,  annoint self (if the oil is not an irritant or poisoness) or items with essential oils (items that you may find available in essential oils will be denoted by O) and by making them into incense (items that you may easily find as incense, or that will be easy to make into incense will be denoted with an I). Do what feels right for you and is safe for you physically. Although some of these plants have many other properties, I'll be limiting the information here to the topic of cleansing and protection. So, according to Feng Shui, if you have a cactus inside, it's best to shield it from site, like putting it in a window sill and letting the curtains fall over it (so it's sending it's protective energies out side the home, but not causing harm to those inside). Drinking chamomile tea before bed relaxes the mind and body and therefore is believed to prevent nightmares.
