Our History Mediarts started its history in the media industry of Linapore. In May 2001, the media lauched a television station (Channel A) and a radio station (Fun_on 97.5 FM). Both TV and radio stations began transmission on 1st June 2001. However, the stations ended transmission on 30th June 2001. At the same time in June 2001, the media published a magazine (@DAYS) and a newspaper (@NEWS). The magazine featured celebrities of Mediarts and other entertainment issues. The newspaper featured news from the world. It mainly focused its news in Asia. Both publications continued to be produced. In November 2002, Mediarts reopened the TV and radio stations. It renamed Channel A to @Rts Channel. This channel is very popular in Linapore. It also lauched another international channel (WNS). This channel is shown in the world through cable television. There is a Linapore and World edition of this channel. The two TV stations and the radio stations began transmission on 19th November 2002. In conjuction to its reopening of the TV and radio stations, it created an interactive website on the internet. The website was lauched in December 2002 and provided viewers with more information about Mediarts. |
