Ghost Recon Hints and Cheats
Ghost Recon is a another great game. But, even the early levels can be extremely difficult for the beginning player . Personally, I'm a filthy rotten cheater and never even bother trying games without them, but I hope that you can rise above what I have become. You can find a link to the cheats at the bottom of this page, but please, take a look at the hints and give them a shot before you sink down to my level. Enjoy!
Stay low!
Stay in the crouching position unless you need to be getting somewhere fast. Be sure to take your time and scan the area you're about to move into thoughroughly before you venture in. Move slowly and carefully. Avoid running;almost none of the missions have you racing against the clock.
Make good use of your snipers. Its always a good idea to take out any enemies you can from a distance. This may alert any other enemies in the area, though, so be sure to be careful when advancing into that area.
Use surpressing fire. Use your support team members wisely. Have your squad advance while the support members lay down heavy fire.
When using the anti-tank rockets, be carefull where you position your squad members. The rocket launcher has a backblast, so be sure no one is behind you when you fire it. Being hit with the backblast can mean severe injury, or, more likely, death.
