Poems

heart of darkness

Someone's in tears
Somewhere in this world

In the beginning of a new century
A siamese tower has fallen down
Someone says a new wind has begun to blow
Yet it has crumbled down with shame
Just as the Bamiyan Buddhist monuments

In the beginning of a new century
It unveiled a pile of old pus in past centuries
And ignorance of us living in the affluent world
That everything was thought to be solved by power and money

Powerful guys would clench their fists of rage
And knuckle down on blameless people
In the name of defunct 'unity'
While allying and dividing others who have borderless identities

Nothing in the world has changed

It's time to replace the world in hatred and selfish privileges
With love and olive branch
Unless we set our hearts so
The earth will remain a heart of darkness

Someone's in tears
Somewhere in this world

In the beginning of a new century
Waiting for a true brandnew wind...with love
