I have had Bull Terriers since 1964, before that I had Poodles. How I started. My then husband wanted a Bull Terrier, you can imagine I was not pleased and could only see my poodles being eaten alive. He eventually got his Bull Terrier, not a baby puppy mind you, a seven month old bitch from Alan Gilmore called of all things Sugar.

I also had a rescue greyhound at the time, to my surprise after the first few days they all got along fine. And sugar was really well named, she was adorable. So from then on the poodles went and I ended up with lots and lots of Bull Terriers.

I have been involved with the running of our B.T.C.Q.Inc. As Secretary on two different occasions, also held the position of National Co-ordinater of Hereditary Diseases for two years.

My dogs have won numerous major placing’s over the years, both by specialists and all rounders.

I am particularly pleased with having bred BEST IN SHOW at the Bull Terrier Club of Hawaii for three years in a row and in 1999 having Best of Variety (Coloured).

My husband Graham breeds Miniatures with his prefix GRAGAL and I continue to breed Bull Terriers with my prefix MELARBRO.
