If you knew Chuck, then you certainly knew The Billy Moon Band, his labor of love. Chuck expressed himself through his music and was living
his dream. Through the band's ups and downs during its three years, Chuck
kept writing and creating, and never gave up hope of playing gigs on a regular
basis. He was always listening to new |
music to help keep his creative juices flowing. The Beatles, Elvis Presley,
Buddy Holly and The Rolling Stones were some of his most prominent musical influences.

If you are lucky, once in your life a person so special enters your world that your
life is changed for the better and changed forever. For me, that person
was Chuck Moan. Chuck was my soul mate, a gentle spirit, my best friend,
and an |
extremely gifted musician. He died very suddenly and unexpectedly on July
5th from leukemia. I hope you will learn things about him on this web site
that you did not know. Chuck was a man who made a friend of every person
he met, and I hope that through this tribute, you will learn to cherish your
loved ones. |
