meet the artist!

greetings! my name is melissa *sunshine* and this website is my long-overdue venture since i closed my other website a few years ago due to moving and a crazy life in general! ;) i've still been creating all the while though, sewing and making jewelry, as well as learning to make many herbal products. currently working with semi-precious stones is my passion. soon i will feature more jewelry, including earrings on the website. fortunately, i have always been blessed with beautiful natural surroundings, which are the inspiration for most of my creations, as you will see! i grew up in upstate new york, but presently live and go to school in northern california, where i study geography and natural resource conservation at Humboldt State.   i love to hike, camp, travel, and go to shows and for these reasons cannot wait for summer!! :) thanks for checking out my work and supporting independent artists!! look for my goods at Family Tree headshop in Syracuse, NY starting in June! much love & light, melissa :)
