| Melka Kennels German Pinschers With Quality that shows!! |
| Melka Kennels imported the first German Pinscher into New Zealand in May 2000 she was a lovely stag red bitch Aust Ch Kaitler Electric Voltage "Lexi ". Lexi was visiting the country to have her pups and to gain her New Zealand Champion. She was in whelp to Multi award winning Swiss,German Ch Max V Hause Zemp who had just been imported from Switzerland to Australia a few weeks before the mating. On 24th of June 2000 Lexi produced seven beautiful pups. Two black & tan males, three stag red males and two stag red females. We also saw the arrival of Kaitler Ace V Hause Zemp who had been imported from Australia a few days after Lexi's pups were born. Ace was out of a bitch that had been imported to Australia from Switzerland her name is Swiss German Ch Ani V Hause Zemp. She was in whelp to Swiss Ch Champ V Hause Zemp. So as you can see we were well on the way to producing some magnificent German Pinschers in New Zealand with all these fantastic bloodlines. We kept a bitch and dog pup out of the first born litter in New Zealand. NZ Ch Wunderbare "Dame" of Melka a stag red bitch and New Zealand Champion "Regan" of Melka a black & tan dog. One stag red bitch went to Lisand Kennels in Napier and has been shown intensively she was the third German Pinscher to obtain a New Zealand Champion and first to get Junior of Group. All the other pups went to lovely pet homes some are doing well in obedience others are just enjoying family life. I receive lots of lovely photo's showing me of their progress, some of which are on my other pages. I campaigned Lexi at the shows and Aust Ch Kaitler Electric Voltage soon became NZ & Aust Champion. When she received her New Zealand Champion she returned to Australia and all her family at Kaitler Kennels in NSW Australia, where they were very happy to have her back. Ace also went around the shows with Lexi and he too became a New Zealand Champion obtaining his 9th Challenge Certificate just after his first Birthday at Easter 2001. Regan and Dame got their Champion Certificates in the beginning of 2002. Regan being the fourth and Dame the fifth German Pinscher to obtain their Champion Certificates in New Zealand. My second litter was between Ch Wunderbare Dame of Melka and Hustomten's Krutbrannare Boss (IMP SWE) Which introduced CH Black Magic of Melka and CH Schwarzer Sieger of Melka both contributing greatly to the breeding program. Since this time I have exported pups back to Australia for showing and breeding and family pets. They are doing well over in the show ring and have produced some lovely GP's. Another first, winning a reserve in group and puppy in group with my baby CH Aces-lively lad of melka. Check out his pages. 2006 I imported a dog from Norway Rattenjager Hades from Rattenjager Kennels thankyou Irene for this fanatic dog he is a laugh a minute and has produced some stunning offspring. At the end of 2006 I imported a bitch from Firedragon Kennels in Australia, NZ CH Firedragon Celestial Drm (Imp Aust) pet name Zarra she is a stunning black and tan bitch. Thankyou Chris and Kate for letting me have this lovely bitch. Keep an eye out for her offspring in the future.
