Almost there! (hopefully...)  Just felt like putting on an update since I haven't for a few weeks and my Christmas countdown has expired!  Andrew doesn't seem very ready to come out to see us, but maybe my doctor will have a different opinion at my appointment tomorrow.  We have everything ready for Andrew.  We had a great Christmas and are more than ready to meet him and spend the New Year with him!  Still, after a busy past few months it was nice to have a few days to relax over the Christmas holidays... :)

Well, not too much to update... we had a doctor's appointment yesterday and everything still looks great and moving in the right direction.  We completely skipped over the every-other-week appointment stage and have our next appointment scheduled for next week (and every week until Andrew decides to make his appearance... however long that is...).  Andrew is getting big... we don't know how big, but I can definitely tell he is getting bigger!  We are still working on our list of what we have left to do... for Andrew and for Christmas too.  We haven't gotten around to Christmas decorating yet but I keep thinking ahead to how much different Christmas is going to be *next* year with a baby old enough to be interested in all of the festivities. Guess we will be trying to keep more than Abby out of the Christmas tree (though Andrew at least won't be trying to jump to the top of it!)!  I'm glad we have so much going on, it seems like we have something planned for every few days for the next few weeks and that just makes time fly faster.  So... it's December and we aren't *quite* ready... but certainly getting there!  About a month to go!

We have been showered with presents for the last week or so... we have been really fortunate to have so many people wanting to help us be ready for Andrew to be here!  Andrew finally decided to wake up the past week or so and he has been pretty active.  I am starting to have to deal more with the not-so-fun parts of pregnancy (including not fitting places I thought I'd fit!) but it is all worth it to know that we have a baby we get to meet soon!  Now we are getting to last minute stuff (that we are trying not to leave until the last minute!):  getting the nursery (re)organized and figuring out what else we need, getting his car seat in the car and hospital bags packed, figuring out a pediatrician and finishing up childbirthing classes... and getting ready for the holidays in the middle of all of that.  Maybe having Thanksgiving, Chad's birthday, Christmas prep and parties, and
Jonathan on the way will make time fly until time to meet Andrew!

Chad finally got to feel Andrew move around the other day... I think he (Andrew, that is) has gotten big enough that I can tell where he is now... so I thought I felt a foot or something and I was playing with him... I'd poke him and then he would kick me back... so I got Chad to join in and he finally felt Andrew move around a little.  So that was exciting!  The not-so-exciting part is that I have had to deal with itchy skin all of the time and lotion and Benadryl don't seem to be touching it... good thing I have a doctor appointment in a few days!  We've started going to childbirth classes with the hospital too... I don't know how much I am learning about childbirth that I haven't already read somewhere but it is good to get to meet some staff from the hospital and know where to go and what to expect from them!  We have a couple of showers coming up in the next few weeks... I got a
copy of the invitation for the first one in the mail this week and it has a teddy bear on it, which is funny because we have so much teddy bear stuff and I don't even think the hostesses for the shower know that.  Now that it is November, I keep hearing countdowns to Christmas on the radio... so I can add a week and have constant reminders of the countdown until Andrew's due date... I"m sure we will be more than ready for that countdown to be at zero by the time December gets here!
