A couple of weeks later...
"Hey Trin, Trin! Come here, I need you to help me get this tie on!" Trinity struggled with strapping on her own pair of high heels when A.J. beckoned her. "Hold on Hold on, I'm trying to get myself ready as well!" A minute later, both shoes were on. "Alright, I'm coming." She walked up to A.J. who stood in front of a full-length mirror, struggling to tie his bow tie. "Turn around," Trinity ordered, moving his body so he was facing her. They were both 5'9 so they were facing each other perfectly. "I don't know why your having me do this. I can't tie them very well either." She told him. "Well maybe I didn't want you to come over just to help me with my tie." A.J. said, a grin forming on his full lips. She looked at him and smirked, just as she finished with his tie. "Better watch yourself Mclean, its not good to get involved with someone like me." She warned. "And just what do you mean by that?" A.J. wondered. "Wouldn't you like to know?" Trinity teased, slapping him lightly on his behind before waltzing away.
They were all going to a formal party, courtesy of MTV. They flew out to New York just earlier that morning, and went shopping for the occasion. Trinity didn't get why they were going, they would just have to fly back to Germany anyway the next morning, but Kevin had told her they had to make an appearance. It was one of those big, celebrity bashes just to make society's unfortunate citizens jealous. The past few weeks had defintely changed a lot of things. Her and the guys were actually communicating and getting along, and she actually felt like she fit in for once. When they were at their hotels, A.J. or Howie would usually invite her up with them to watch movies. Howie and A.J. were the ones she had gotten closest to. Kevin seemed to have been keeping his distance from her lately, and she didn't know why. Maybe he felt something with her like she did with him. But she could only dream of that. She knew it would be an possible relationship anyway. She didn't even know why she was thinking about it. He wasn't a concern to her, she shouldn't even be thinking about him. She was here undercover for her protection.
Besides, if he did like her, he liked Trinity Edwards not Angel Lin. She talked to Brian once in awhile, more than she did Kevin or Nick. Nick didn't seem to like her very much, he had the same attitude he did towards her in the beginning. She never complained though, she didn't favor blondie too much either. She wasn't as serious as she was three weeks ago either. Basically, A.J. grew on her a little bit, and when she was around him she was a bubbly as she was after her first performance. That guy just had that kind of affect on people. He changed the whole atmosphere around him when he just walked into a room. He was becoming a close friend, and she enjoyed her time with him. She was going as A.J.'s date for the night, and Nick was going with his girlfriend Mary. He had been very excited to hear about going back to US for a day, so he could spend some time with his girlfriend. But he sure was going to be dissapointed when he had to leave again. She hadn't met Mary yet, but Howie had told her she was a sweetheart.
Brian was taking his fiancee' Leighanne, and Howie and Kevin were going stag. She was kind of happy Kevin wasn't bringing a date, although she would never admit it. She checked herself quickly in the mirror, she was wearing a long, black leather dress that was way to tight to her standards, but A.J. had insisted she wear it. She couldn't decline since he was the one who bought it. He had spent $500 on it, and when she found out she tried to get him to take it back but he wouldn't reason. She eventually gave in and wore it. She would rather go to the party looking like a classy slut, than a classy priss. If only Neils could see her now, his pants would drop right there on their own. What a sight that would be. Her hair was up in a classy french bun style that looked elegant enough for the sleazy dress. Brian walked into Trinity's hotel room, where her and A.J. were. "Hey Trinity, do you know how to tie bow ties? Leighanne isn't here yet, and I'm having trouble." Brian said. "Don't any of you know how to tie your own bow ties???" Trinity exclaimed in bewilderment. "Kevin and Howie do." A.J. pointed out.
As she stumbled over to Brian in the heels his eyes widened slightly, and a smirk formed on his lips. "You know Trinity, you look pretty hot tonight, think your gonna need help getting out of that dress later?" Brian teased, sticking his tounge slightly. She playfully punched him. "Ow...hehe, alright." She fixed his bow tie and made it look as neat as possible. "Leighanne better get here soon, we have to leave in 15 minutes." A.J. informed. "Well she caught a cab about 30 minutes ago, she should be here any minute." Brian told him.
"Well you boys ready? We're supposed to be in the lobby now." Trinity asked, putting the small coin purse that matched the dress on her shoulder. "Yep." A.J. said, grabbing his black coat. "You know, this is the first time I've worn a suit like this since I was 16 at my communien." A.J. told her. "Really? Wow. Well I guess your not really the suit and tie kinda guy anyway." Trinity said. "Yeah, too bad the invitation said "suit and tie" instead of "leather and chains". Brain said, teasing A.J. "Man, wait till the other guys see you Bone, there gonna trip. I don't think they've ever seen you in a suit." "Aw shut up Bri, your gonna make me go back to my room and change." "Ok ok."
They all piled into the elevator and than made their way to lobby. Trinity saw Kevin and Howie standing in front of each other talking, and Nick and a woman with blonde hair, blonder than Nick's who she supposed was Mary were whispering into each others ears giggling. "Leighanne!" Brian yelled. She watched him rush to a woman who looked about 26, with long dirty blonde hair, the body of a model, and a sparkling smile. The two embraced with a passionate kiss. She saw all the love in Brian's eyes when he looked at Leighanne and felt happy for him. She didn't see to many people with that look in their eyes. She approached Howie and Kevin with A.J. not too far behind. "Hey guys." She greeted. The two looked up, and they looked her up and down. "Whoa, Trin," That was Howie's and A.J.'s new nickname for her. Only they called her that. "You look...wow. A.J. picked that out didn't he?" Howie stuttered out, scratching his ear, staring down at her body stuffed into the dress. "Actually yeah, you could pick on that really easily couldnt you?" Trinity said. "Well the dress...it isn;t you. I mean, it looks great on you, really great, very sexy, but I know you would never buy something like that for yourself." Howie explained. "I know."
"Your not actually gonna go out like that are you?" Kevin spoke up, his voice uneasiness. "WHy not?" Trinity wondered, looking him in the eye. Kevin ran his hand nervously through his hair. "Uh nevermind." He said quickly. "We should go to the limo now." She watched him walk out the hotel's doors and towards the white limo. "Well ya ready?" A.J. asked, offering her his arm. "More than ever." She responded, taking it as they headed out for the party.
