The bright sunlight blinded Angel as she opened her eyes.  Dammit.  She thought.  They put me next to the goddamn window, and leave the drapes wide open.  Have they no respect?  She moaned loudly as she forced herself to a sitting position.  She looked around the room, realizing she was in the hospital.  What the...It was white, too white in her mind, a uncomfortable looking recliner was set in the back of the room, with a white dusty lamp next to it, she looked to the side of her seeing a big machine that her body was hooked to, and a empty rolling chair next to her bed.  All that could be heard was the walking of feet going past her door.  She was thinking of pressing the nurses call button, but didn't have to when all of a sudden her hospital door opened.  Her eyes widened as she saw Brian, George, and A.J. walk in.  "Oh my gosh!  Angel, your awake!"  George exclaimed running to her bedside.  He enveloped her into a bear hug, obviously not being tender to her wounds.  "Ow!'  She yelped.  George pulled away.  "Oh gosh Ang, I'm so sorry.  Are you okay?"  He asked.  She nodded.  Tearing her gaze from George she looked up at the solemn faces of A.J. and Brian.

Angel gulped, knowing obviously the cat in the bag was out, and she had no clue how they had reacted.  Thinking about Kevin and Donna suddenly, she decided to ask about that later.  "How are Kevin and Donna?  Are they...alright?"  She asked, remembering Kevin passing out just as the FBI showed up.  She had been so surprised that she couldn't speak when she was untied and freed.  She had thrown questions at them asking how they had known where they were and they told her that Kane had been hanging on a limb, and he wasn't really planning on killing her, he had made one of his men make a not so anoymous call telling them she was their hostage, and wouldn't be released until Kane could safely get out of the country.  It was crazy, she knew.  But not at all impossible.  Kane had never been very smart in the first place.  After she heard the news, she tried to go to Kevin and see if he was alright, but the ambulance was already driving away, and the paramedics were forcing her into an ambulance herself to tend to her own wounds.  A.J. spoke first to answer her question.  "Donna is in the emergency room right now...she got real beat up, but they assured us she is going to live.  Kev...well Kevin is fine.  He's been awake for a few hours now, he doesn't remember anything about last night."

She gulped, realizing that he must still think she's Trinity.  "Does he...?"  Brian cut in.  "Still think your Trinity?"  Brian looked uneasily at A.J., than back to her.  "Yes, he does.  No one has the heart to tell him, and Johnny figured it'd be best if you did it."  "When are they going to release me?"  "Whenever you want"  George answered her question.  "The doctors said you weren't in that bad of shape, just a few bruised kidneys, and cuts.  Nothing major."  Angel nodded slightly.  Once again, she looked back up at A.J. and Brian.  "Are you guys...mad...at me?"  She asked meekly.  They both opened their mouths to answer, but a dark figure burst into the door, and surprised them.  What the...?

She gasped so loud it almost came out as a scream.  "OH MY GOD!!  Angel!"  She stared speechless, as Neils practically tackled her. He had jumped on the bed with her, and was hugging her much tighter than George had.  "Ow fuck Neils, let go!"  She shouted, pushing him away.  Neils didn't take it to heart, and just kept a heart-warming smile on his face.  "Oh man Angel, I'm so glad your okay!  When George called me last night and told me where you were, I hopped a flight down here as quick as I could.  I just got in.  Are you okay?  He didn't hurt you did he?  God I could kill him!"  Angel just stared at him with wide eyes as he rambled on.  Brian, A.J. and George were also pretty speechless.  They just stared on watching Neils act like a madman.  He had never acted like this before.  He was always so calm, so cool, so collected.  If her eyes could get any more wide than they already were, him kissing her did it.  He had stopped rambling for a second, and clamped his lips onto hers, taking her face into his hands.  She couldn't do anything.  Couldn't close her eyes, couldn't breathe, couldn't think, couldn't respond...or...didn't want to.  It was gone.  There was nothing.  No feeling, no love, no...nothing.

He pulled away, and looked at her, not letting go of her face.  He stared into her eyes, breathing slightly heavy from all that talking.  "I missed you Ang..."  He said tenderly.  She looked back into his eyes, and saw the love.  But she couldn't show any to him.  "Neils..."  She started, placing her hand on his arm.  She looked up at the others and asked them to give her and Neils a minute alone.  They solemnly agreed and walked out, closing the door.  "Angel, whats wrong?"  He asked, seeing the concern and worry in her eyes. "Neils, I need to tell you something."  "What is it?"  "You might not like it."  She warned.  "What do you mean?  It's alright Ang, I won't get angry.  You know me."  He said, getting up off the bed, and sitting down in the rolling chair.   "Neils, I'm in love..."  She said, his eyes widened, and his smile faded.  She took a deep, shaky breath and began...

Later that evening...

Angel had been given permission to leave but Kevin and Donna hadn't.  Kevin was due to stay another night, and Donna had to stay for a week.  After Neils had driven her to his hotel to get changed and cleaned, he drove her back to see Kevin.  Neils, to her utter surprise, had been extremely hurt.  She never knew he had those type of feelings.  He had told her, "You never know what you have until you lose it.  I almost lost you, and it was the most terrifying thing in my life.  Than I realized these feelings I had for you.  I mean, you were always my best friend, but than I realized to not being able to see you, or oh god, to never kiss you again, drove me up the wall."  When she had explained the whole thing to him more in depth and told him her feelings for him and Kevin, he softened a little, and agreed that *they* wouldn't happen.  Neils agreed to wait in the waiting room while she talked to Kevin.

Not to much later, she was standing in front of Kevin's closed door.  She could see him slightly through the window, staring blankly at the wall.  With a deep breath, she knocked on the door.  "Come in..."  Came Kevin's groggy voice.  She opened the door and stepped in.  When she saw Kevin's face lite up, her heart dropped.  "Trinity..."  He said.  Trinity...gawd, she wished he would call her by her real name.  "Hi Kev."  She said, walking up to his bed.  "Oh god, please, give me a hug."  He begged.  She broke down, and threw her arms around him and started crying.  Angel Lin...crying.  It was too much.  "Aw, Trin...shh..."  He stroked the back of her head lovingly with his hand.  Angel sniffed, and sat down next to him on his bed a moment later.  Wiping her tears with her hands, she thanked god she wasn't wearing mascara.  "Trinity, I missed you."  She hated that name.  She hated it so much now, just because he didn't know.  "Kev, please."  "Trin...?"  He asked with worry.  "My NAME is NOT Trinity!"  She shouted suddenly, making Kevin jump slightly.  His eyebrows creased and he uneasily laid back in his bed.  She quietly began,  "The guys told me you didn't remember much of last night.  Hardly anything actually...and you don't remember what I told you."  He just looked at her, confused.  Sniffing again, she looked into his eyes.  "Kevin, my name is Angel Lin...,  Oh god...."  She started crying again.  "Kev, I don't want to hurt you again, I had to do it last night, and I was hoping you'd remember and now...oh please...don't hate me."  She prayed, and tried to collect herself.  Kevin just stayed silent, his lips in a tight line.  She could tell he was biting the inside of his lip, anticipating, waiting for her confession.

She once again, told another story that would once again break someones heart for the second time that day...
