Trinity's head throbbed as a loud knock came through the door. "What the hell...?" She mumbled twisting around in the thick covers. "7:00 a.m. wake up call!" In a muffled distance she heard Carol grumbling with irration as well. The knocking continued. "Oh god-Shut up!!!" Trinity shouted shooting up from under the covers and threw her pillow towards the door just as it opened. "Ow! What the-!" Trinity let her eyes open all the way and saw an angry faced Nick. She had to bite her bottom lip to hide a tiny grin. Carol did worse, cracking up. Nick's hair was wildly wisped around his head and the non-prescription glasses he wore lay crooked on his nose. "God, you are...are...dammit I don't know, but-but-I'll get you back!" Nick stuttered out, his face bright red from anger and embarrasment. With a sigh Trinity grunted out a "whatever" and fell back into her silk pillows and covers. She shut her eyes tightly, hearing Nick's footsteps, Carols laughing, and the slamming of the door.
A few minutes later just when she thought she had peace the door creaked open. "Look Ni-" Trinity started peeking out from her covers but instead saw it was Kevins head that was poked in through the door. "Um sorry if Nick bothered you but Donna sent him up to wake you two for breakfest. We have a schedule to keep." She sighed with a nod, practically crawling out of bed. She looked up, seeing Carol do the same. They were both headed toward the same direction-the bathroom. Both looked up and than lunged for the door. But to Trinity's misfortune, Carol not only got the bed with the view but the bed also closer to the bathroom. Carol had the door slammed before she even got two feet. "Well that was cute." Trinity mumbled sarcastically. She heard a muffled laugh behind her. Turning around she saw Kevin leaning against the doorframe, a sly grin on his face. He shook his head. "Women." "Do you need something?" She said, a hint of attitude in her voice. Kevin held his hands up in defense, than backed outside in silence.

"This is how I see it, after soundcheck you'll spruce up on these dance moves." "These ones?" Trinity put in looking carefully at the steps Fatima lined out for her on a piece of paper. It was even more confusing to look at than her case files back at her office in L.A. She always figured music stars had it easy. She never thought about all the training and rehearsing they put in. To do and see the same repeatitive thing everyday. Her job was more dangerous but she didn't have to jump around for two and a half hours in front of thousands of teenagers. Right now, she would give anything to be in back in L.A. driving around with Neil's busting the bad guys. She would even take puttin on a uniform for a week monitering a high school than this.
"So right after the concert in Tokyo we leave and hop back on the tour bus and go to Kyoto. Another big city here in Japan. Oh and if no one told you yet, we're only doing four concerts here in Japan. Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagano, and Osaka. Than we're going to Germany for two months to tour over there." Donna explained to Trinity as the whole gang was crowded in the hotel's restaurant hovered around a Japanese breakfest. Everyone was digging in except Trinity and Nick. Nick was staring at his plate like it was a plate of moving worms. He had a look of disgust and his face seemed a greenish color. Trinity had let Carol order for her and the plate she recieved DID look like a plate of moving worms. She didn't dare glance at it, much less eat it.
An audible whine came from Nick's pouty lips. "I wish A.J. would have waited up." He pouted leaning against his hand his face getting greener from staring at the food too long. She knew how he felt. A.J. left a half an hour early before breakfest telling Donna he was gonna go shop for a little bit and catch a bite to eat at McDonalds. Trinity and Nick were both equally upset to find out he went without them. "Oh come on Nick. Just try it." Kevin urged. Nick just shook his head, his blonde hair flapping around his face. It was surprising how a full-grown man could be so childish and immature. "Well fine whatever." Kevin grumbled, eating his own plate of worms. "Um, I'm gonna go upstairs and eh..uh...get something...that...I....uh..need." Trinity said, jumping up from her chair. Everyone looked at her. She nervously adjusted the frames, and than casually wrapped her arms around her bare, flat, tanned belly.
She suddenly felt self-concious in front of Nick, Howie, Brian, and Kevin who seemed to be oogling at her tight sports bra baring her cleavage and curves. It was the first time Howie or Brian had full acknowledged her on the trip, if you could consider that a plus. "Alright, well if you need anything or want to go anywhere Randy's in room 204." She nodded slightly before practically running out of the room. A few minutes later Trinity was inside her room, the door securely locked. She collapsed onto her bed with a sigh of relief. The silence that surrounded her was only to be interuppted by her stomach growling. "Grrr...dammit." She cursed realizing she hadn't eaten breakfest or anything at all for that matter. She opened her little desk-top table drawer next to her bed and pulled out a Snickers. She was so happy she had packed a few Snickers for on the road munchies. She sighed inwardly feeling relaxed for only a few seconds. She realized that tommorow was it. Tommorow was her first performance. She didn't get it, they could have made her a producer, or a visiting cousin, or damn, even a freakin song writer. She didn't get the point of the singer thing. What if people decided they liked her and she became a poster all over? Oh get a hold of yourself. Your just the opening act. Donna won't allow any pictures or interviews. She knows what that could do. Finishing the rest of her Snickers, she placed her arms behind her heard and closed her eyes. A good, short rest would be just the ticket. |
