Adelaide Barbiere was born 1835 at Epinal, France to Francois Zavier Barbiere a carpenter, and Francoise Jeune.

George Beaupeurt born c1828, married Adelaide Barbiere in Paris in 1856, when he was aged 36 (by his death certificate), 30 (by Paul's birth certificate, which gives his birthplace as La Meurte, France) or 27 (by the age recorded in the shipping records). George died 27 Nov 1877, 9 days after being thrown from his cart. Letters of Administration for George Beaupeurt, market gardener of Bellaura, were issued to Adelaide Regan on 8 July 1878

Adelaide's naturalisation Memorial is dated 28 Nov 1877, the day after George's Inquest and Burial. She was naturalised 20 Dec 1877.
